Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes.....

It has been a heady week. My life has turned drastically upside down in less than three days, and I am still recovering from the shock.

During the dark days of spring, I posted my resume on a site which recruits teachers for the U.K. On Tuesday, I interviewed with a school outside of London, on Wednesday I was offered the job, and on Thursday I accepted the job, asked for a leave of absence from my current employer, put my condo on the market....and am planning a whole new life, far from friends, family, et. al. to pursue yet another adventure in life. My mind is still reeling from the speed of all of this. If all works out, I shall be in the U.K. by August to begin the term in September.

The things I will do to see the second season of Torchwood before anyone else in the states.....

Wow. Is. All. I. Can. Say.

OMG,
Too impetuous to play it safe. I like that about you. What an adventure. Please keep your blog up while you are over there, just to say "hi" once in a while. Plus, I want to master all the British slang and phrases, so you could post those once in a while too, but I am not being bossy or anything like that.

Are your friends throwing you a going away party or will it be one long bash between now and August? Oh, well, so much for stopping by and organizing your closets. Oh, you will probably have less closet space over there, so it may be a good idea to start chucking things out now, but I'm not being bossy or anything like that!

Congratulations!!!!!

Don't worry, pursey, the chucking has begun. I put the condo on the market, am repainting, cutting my life down to the bare minimum.....noone has mentioned the going away party yet. Sonic, do you and deux want to get on that, please?

Much congratulations and love...

Wine night, July 21, would be the last one you can make...can you?

It may be anonymous, but I think you know who I am...

ciao bello

Capt. Jack,
Oh how I wish I could have been there for the first chuck! We can throw a bash for you over at Live at the GA. It may be slow, readers are on vacation or just out of the loop, but we could still have a nice bash. Let me know.

Hmmmm, this anonymous person wants to have wine with you. Do you think this is the same person who sent you that anonymous package? Intriguing.

Could we set up some sort of live web cast for a going away party???? I'll ask the Sonic-Mate how to... will let you know of the logistics.

PS. I didn't even know "Torchwood" was out. We downloaded it and are catching up.

Hey! I was travelling! Safety tip folks, don't work for Maggie, she'll ride you like a thoroughbred.

Wait - that didn't come out right.

Personally I am thinking London at Christmas. In the meantime, we'll have to concoct something.

Quick. Go to Sully's site and find the "That Welsh Dude" YouTube post. Within a world of turmoil and violence, it is one of the most uplifting things I've seen in a long, long time.

Bring kleenex to wipe the tears.

I just fell in love with Paul on That Welsh Dude at Sully's. Thanks for posting that Sonic, it truly was uplifting. I love his voice. It is so unstrained and light yet powerful.
